Hi all,

I’m currently in the process of setting up an online writing group. It’s early stages at the minute, but the idea is to work and collect submissions on different topics every few months, and then create a publication of people’s work and celebrate it with a launch locally. The idea is to celebrate the act of writing and storytelling, while also offering a space for critique and discussion at the launch.

We’ve just sent out our first brief, which is on food stories.
You can find the brief attached, and we’d love your submissions.

You’re welcome to pick anything as a topic of interest. An old family favourite, a recipe your mother told you, a memory, an experience with food, or a love letter to a favourite snack. Stories can be positive, negative, weird, or mundane.

I’d love to hear your poems, short prose, or personal stories. Ideally, they should be around 150-200 words. The brief is open and up to you. f you’ve got a photo to go with it, excellent, if not, no worries.

The deadline for submissions is April 15th.
And the email for submissions is thepeoplespuzzle@gmail.com

There’s more info attached in the image - but please do send on any questions.
