Good on the police for dealing with dangerous dogs. A friend’s 4-year-old daughter was attacked by a dog off a leash in Mayor Park a few years ago and, thank goodness, not seriously injured. But some dog breeds have it in them and it’s only a matter of time before a more serious incident unless there we get stricter controls. I believe the council are looking into this as we speak.
