HOME PARK NEEDS YOUR HELP
join the FREE “Friends of Home Park” community group
WHY?
Home Park (on Sydenham Road, next to the Sydenham Library) has the potential to be a lovely park. But it needs more love, more attention and more visitors to want to spend time in it. We all want a park that we can be proud of and enjoy spending time in. The aim of the group is to discuss and plan how we can protect and get the best out of our beautiful park. We can work together to tackle current issues such as: littering, dog fouling, broken glass. And more positively to discuss opportunities like how to fulfil the potential of the disused toilet block, upgrades to the playground, and bringing wellbeing & fitness initiatives to the park.
WHO?
Everyone and anyone who uses or has a view on the park. We want the group to reflect the socially diverse community we are lucky enough to have in the local area – to bring all of the different knowledge, backgrounds, experiences and interests for the benefit of the park… so please, please join us.
