Parents of pupils in Year 4 at Adamsrill Primary School in Sydenham have received an email informing them a case had been confirmed in their child’s year group.
The email, seen by MyLondon on social media, was titled: “URGENT INFORMATION FOR YEAR 4 PARENT & CARER.”
It then read: “We have been notified of a positive case of coronavirus which affects your child’s year 4 bubble.
“We would ask you to keep your year 4 child at home tomorrow (Thursday 10th September) to allow us to undertake a full risk assessment.
“Further details and instructions will follow once this has been completed.”
Some parents were outraged that only Year 4 students had been sent home, with one saying: “The whole school should be closed if u no anyone that goes to this school let them no as this email was only sent to year 4 kids !!!”
