How you can help local children enjoy the game
In 2019, Platform Cricket (a charity) set up a youth cricket project in Sydenham with the support of local Primary Schools, particularly aiming to bring more children from disadvantaged and BAME backgrounds into the game.
The Sydenham Sonics team which trains at Forest Hill Boys’ School (winter) and Mayow Park (summer) had an incredible start to life, finishing as the 3rd best under 9 team in the whole of Kent last September.
The charity is now seeking financial support to help purchase the necessary kit and protective equipment required to begin hard ball cricket in 2020.

Organisations pledging in excess of £250 are entitled to have their logos displayed on the team kits that children will use in competitive matches in 2020.
