After this Saturday, Sydenham Library will be closed for 2 weeks for a long–overdue assessment of the interior, to plan solutions to longstanding issues of leaking roofs, penetrating damp, poor ventilation, crumbling plaster and disintegrating decor.
The library has been put under exciting new management, by V22, who manage Louise House, and other arts centres and artists studio complexes. It will reopen on 4 November, with Chrissie and the volunteer team continuing in place.
