Police distributing Smartwater in Sydenham

I’m unconvinced. If the police can see it using an ultra violet light, surely the criminals can too, and wash/scrape it off?

I used Smartwater when the police delivered it to my road and I was optimistic about it until I tried scraping some off, and it came off easily.
