Sydenham have had an increase in Thefts from Motor Vehicle. Please ensure your vehicles are locked and all valuables are removed from your car or at the very least moved out of sight.

My van was broken into a couple of weeks ago on peak hill avenue. Lit up area, nothing stolen but extensive damage to the door. My van has no valuables in so waste of time. Police said they would come within 24 hours and never turned up.
