Local dads with young kids

Morning everyone,

Does anyone know of any dads & toddler groups at the weekend in Sydenham? We’ve got a two year old and a three month old, which generally means that I have to entertain our two year old at the weekend! Haven’t seen anything specific on hoop or happity.

Failing that, if there are any dad’s in a similar situation and want to meet up in the park /soft play etc, then shout. I’m 40, can talk rubbish about football, running, cricket, music and a whole host of other meaningless topics…

There’s ‘big fish’ at St John’s church in Penge, every 3rd Saturday of the month from 9am I think. Loads of dads go (and some mums) and it’s for kids up to 4. It’s 3 quid and when we used to go it was mainly dads. It’s a lovely playgroup with fab toys for all ages. Maybe worth trying that next month
